A typical service includes drama, music and a relevant Bible-based message. Our drama team brings insight into life in this new century. Our music ministry offers diversity in style and age. Our Praise Team sings and provides leadership with contemporary praise music with The Southridge Band, soloists and other combinations of musicians and singers. The sermons help us to apply Biblical truths to our everyday lives, as they challenge and encourage us in our faith. Our younger children participate in age appropriate worship during the adults' worship time. As servants of Jesus Christ, guided by His Word, we seek to attract and invite the unc hurched and over-churched to be loved by God, to love and serve God and others, and to help people come to spiritual maturity and experience the power of prayer.We believe in God the Father, creator and sustainer of Heaven and Earth.A Brief HistorySouthridge is part of the Reformed Church in America. We began as a project of the Kalamazoo Classis Extension Committee to fill the need for another Reformed Church in Portage Township.
